Second dose of vaccine available for those at age of 40 and above

RIYADH — The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that all the people in the Kingdom at the age of 40 and above on the basis of the Hijri date will now be able to receive their second dose of coronavirus vaccine.

The ministry called on all the targeted beneficiaries in this category to receive the second jab by booking an appointment through the Sehhaty application.

The ministry earlier announced that the second dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine is available for people above 50 years old. There have been no deaths reported among vaccinated individuals in Saudi Arabia, it also confirmed recently.
