ABU DHABI — The United Arab Emirates has signed an agreement with Georgia to step up cooperation between the two countries in the fields of security and combating crime, the UAE's official news agency WAM reported on Tuesday.
The agreement, which was signed remotely by the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Georgia's Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri, aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and develop bilateral relations in the security and policing fields, especially in enhancing traffic safety, combating crime in all its forms.
It also seeks to facilitate the exchange of experiences in utilizing modern technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance police work. — SG
