Saudi cinema night at Arab World Institute in Paris kicks off

PARIS — The French capital, Paris hosted Tuesday the "Saudi Cinema in Paris" event of the Red Sea International Film Festival, at the headquarters of the Arab World Institute.

The night was held in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to France Fahad Al-Ruwaily and Princess Haifa Bint Abdulaziz Al Muqrin, the Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the UNESCO.

The Saudi Cinema in Paris, which was shown on the eve of the launch of the Cannes International Film Festival, aims to shed light on the works of Saudi directors and talents shaping Saudi cinema, some of which have already won international awards.

The Saudi Cinema Nights event achieved great success in its first version last month in Jeddah. — SPA
