King Salman, Sultan Haitham discuss joint cooperation and ways to develop them

NEOM — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received at NEOM Palace Sunday Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the Sultan and his accompanying delegation, while the Sultan of Oman expressed happiness to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and meet with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Sultan of Oman, in the presence of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, held a session of official talks.

They reviewed the historical deep-rooted relations between the two countries, and discussed aspects of joint cooperation and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques held a luncheon banquet in honor of Sultan Haitham and his accompanying delegation.

The talks were attended by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud bin Naif; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah; Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; and Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi.

On the Omani side, the talks were attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab Bin Tarik Al-Said; Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court Sayyid Khalid Bin Hilal Bin Saud Al-Busaidi; Minister of Royal Office Gen. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Nu'amani; Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud Bin Faisal Al-Busaidi; and Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamoud Al-Busaidi. — SPA
