President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) Awwad Al-Awwad met here on Monday with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Nayef Al-Hajraf, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, they discussed the coordination of the GCC efforts, the aspects of joint cooperation in the field of human rights and ways to enhance them, praising the depth of the relations among the GCC countries.

Al-Awwad reviewed Saudi Arabia's efforts to support human rights under the support of wise leadership, its developments in this field, and the path-breaking steps toward achieving sustainable development.
