Jordanians vaccinated with Chinese jab can enter Saudi Arabia after taking booster dose

JEDDAH —
Jordanians, who have received two doses of the Chinese Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine, will be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia provided if they take a booster shot of a vaccine approved in the Kingdom, Jordan’s Health Minister Dr. Firas Al-Hawari was quoted as saying by local media.

Currently, the approved COVID-19 vaccines in Saudi Arabia are Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.

The Jordanian health ministry announced earlier that there were talks between Saudi Arabia and Jordan regarding the approval of the Chinese coronavirus vaccine Sinopharm, according to local reports.
