JEDDAH — King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) has completed preparations to receive pilgrims for this year’s Hajj who will arrive at the airport from inside the Kingdom, beginning on Saturday (Dhul Hijjah 7).

KAIA has put in place certain health precautionary measures in cooperation with concerned agencies under the supervision of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to ensure the safety of the pilgrims and prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Precautionary measures, accredited by health authorities, include Tawakkalna App, applying social distancing, in addition to the 24-hour sterilization of all operating facilities.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation is making all efforts to apply the highest safety standards at Kingdom’s airports.

It has also taken all precautionary and health measures in cooperation with the relevant authorities to ensure a safe journey for travelers passing through the Kingdom’s airports.
