MINA — Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman and Acting Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Esam Bin Saeed paid an inspection visit on Tuesday to the headquarters of the Saudi Electricity Company here where they were briefed on the electricity services being provided to pilgrims in the holy sites.

On the occasion, the Minister of Energy stressed that serving pilgrims is unmatched honor and that the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman call for exerting maximum efforts to facilitate the needs of pilgrims in these holy sites.

He noted that the current Hajj season is exceptional with the limited number of people, offering an opportunity to learn about some issues that took place in the past and to find sustainable solutions. The energy minister directed the company to address the internal networks inside the camps, which are outside the scope of the company's tasks.

For his part, the acting Minister of Hajj and Umrah stated that the ministry always aspires to provide the best services to the pilgrims.

For his part, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah clarified that the Hajj involves the participation of all government sectors, not for the Ministry of Hajj alone.

"We always aspire for the best, and we will meet with the ministries and other concerned authorities after the Hajj to fill any gaps or errors, and solve them radically to provide the best services to the pilgrims," he said.
