Minister congratulates leadership on success of this year’s Hajj

MAKKAH — Acting Minister of Hajj and Umrah Issam Bin Saeed has extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman on the success of this year's Hajj season.

He expressed his joy as this year’s Hajj ended on Friday without any untoward incident amid exceptional circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic and challenges faced by government agencies due to it.

In his cable, the Hajj minister said: "Thanks to Allah Almighty and His Grace, the generous care and directives of the wise leadership, this year's Hajj season has been a success. It was the result of cooperation among all participating sectors and the excellent provision of health, security, and technical services to the pilgrims."

Dr. Saeed also said that the services being provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques confirm the Kingdom's constant keenness to serve the Two Holy Mosques and their pilgrims so that they perform their rituals safely and securely in the wake of the exceptional circumstances the world is experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
