King, Crown Prince congratulate Tunisian president on Republic Day

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to Tunisian President Kais Saied on the eve of the anniversary of his country's Republic Day.

King Salman wished the Tunisian president good health and happiness and the government and people of Tunisia steady progress and prosperity, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.


Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman also sent a similar cable to the Tunisian president, the SPA added.

Republic Day is celebrated in Tunisia on July 25 every year. It commemorates the anniversary of the vote to abolish the monarchy and found the republic on July 25, 1957.
