Kuwait's Cabinet thanks King Salman, lauds Saudi efforts for successful Hajj

KUWAIT CITY — Kuwait’s Cabinet has expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for a successful Hajj this year.

In a weekly meeting on Monday, the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers lauded the Saudi government for its relentless efforts, meticulous arrangements and extraordinary care of pilgrims during the annual pilgrimage amid exceptional circumstances in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Cabinet also expressed Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of recent attacks launched by the Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia.

The Cabinet stressed Kuwait's full solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to maintain its security and stability.

The Kuwait Cabinet also commended efforts by Iraqi security authorities in dismantling two terrorist cells that carried out the Sadr city market blast recently, killing and injuring dozens of people.

It affirmed Kuwait’s full support to Iraq in all measures it takes to maintain its security and stability, expressing confidence in the country’s ability to combat terror and foil sabotage attempts.

The Kuwait Cabinet expressed sincere condolences to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg as well as the families of the victims over the devastating floods that engulfed these countries.

It also voiced Kuwait’s sympathy with China and India over the devastating foods that left several killed, wounded and missing.
