Saudi Arabia says Tunisian leadership will overcome crisis

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia reiterated on Tuesday that it supports all efforts for security and stability in Tunisia, adding that the Kingdom respects everything that is deemed Tunisian internal affairs and considers it a sovereign matter.

In a statement, the Saudi foreign ministry said the Kingdom also affirms its confidence in the Tunisian leadership in overcoming the crisis in order to provide a decent life and prosperity for the Tunisian people.

The foreign ministry said that the Saudi government is following up on the current situation.

It urged the international community to stand by Tunisia during difficult circumstances as it is facing health and economic challenges.
