ROME — Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan held separate meetings here on Friday with his French counterpart Roselyne Bachelot and Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay on the sidelines of the G20 culture ministers' meeting.
During his meeting with the French minister, Prince Badr discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the cultural domain, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
He thanked the French minister for her country's support for Saudi Arabia during its presidency of the G20 in 2020.
Prince Badr also met with the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, on Friday.
During his meeting with the UNESCO chief, Prince Badr reviewed the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to preserve cultural elements, and tangible and intangible monuments, stressing the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen partnership with UNESCO in supporting the protection and promotion of culture and heritage.
