A captivating view of the picturesque Al-Souda Mountain in the southern Asir region attracts large number of local tourists and visitors.

Al-Souda, which is about 20 kms from the city of Abha, is the highest peak along the Sarawat Mountain ranges that run parallel to the Arabian Peninsula on the western side.

Al-Souda, Al-Sahab, Al-Habla and Dalgan natural parks are among the oldest and most famous summer parks in the Asir region.

These parks are witnessing influx of large numbers of citizens and residents who enjoy the beauty of nature and moderate temperatures in the shade of juniper trees that are widespread on the slopes of the Sarawat Mountains.

In summer days, the Asir highlands witness continuous rain that increases the natural parks’ beauty and attractiveness.

Visitors are keen to document these unique moments through their mobile phones or professional cameras. — SPA
