DAMMAM — The Eastern Region Police Directorate Spokesperson Lt. Col. Mohammad Al-Shahri said that security follow-ups for assault crimes and tracking perpetrators have enabled competent authorities in Dammam Police to arrest four people (two Palestinian nationals, an Egyptian woman and a citizen) who are in their 30s and 40s for counterfeiting currency.

The four suspects were arrested in possession of 21,000 counterfeited Saudi riyals, equipment used for counterfeiting and drugs. They were all arrested and following initial procedures were referred to the prosecutor general branch, Al-Shahri added. — SPA
