KAIMRC to hold global summit for medical biotechnology in Riyadh

RIYADH — King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) is set to hold Riyadh Global Summit for Medical Biotechnology, the 12th Annual Forum for Medical Research, during the period Sept. 14-16, 2021.

With the participation of more than 40 local and international speakers specialized in the field of biotech, the summit will discuss several topics, including the opportunities and challenges related to medical biotechnology in Saudi Arabia, the investment strategy in medical biotech as well as the role of biotechnology in developing medicines, vaccines and cell and gene therapies.

Riyadh Global Summit for Medical Biotechnology aims to push the boundaries of the existing thinking and practice towards a targeted and sustainable medical biotechnology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It also aims to propose innovative models and opportunities for developing biotechnologies as well as academic and industrial partnerships that will impact the country, the region and the rest of the world. — SPA
