HRC vice president visits rehab center in Abha

ABHA — The Human Rights Commission (HRC) Vice President Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Al-Khayyal visited the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Abha and was briefed on the level of services provided.

The visit was a part of the commission’s efforts to protect and promote human rights, primarily of those with special needs.

During his visit, he said that Saudi Arabia’s regulations took care of the rights of people with special needs while making sure to provide them with all means of care.

The commission was keen to promote and support all efforts to uphold the rights of people with special needs as guaranteed by national regulations and international agreements.

Al-Khayyal then visited the Fathers of Orphans Association and was briefed on the work being done by the association.
