Qassim Governor: Vision 2030 prioritizes health programs and transformation

BURAIDAH — Qassim Governor Prince Faisal Bin Mishaal stressed that Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 gives priority to support health programs and transformation in order to increase the efficiency of the health services provided to beneficiaries.

Prince Faisal said that the beneficiary of the health services should be aware of the efforts being made in the pathways of health transformation through the relevant district.

The prince stressed that there are high expectations for improving access to health services, digital solutions, and health standards that will be applied focusing on user satisfaction.

He also reviewed the achievements of the health cluster, listening to explanation from the CEO of the health cluster Sultan Al-Shaya about health projects implemented and being executed.

The projects are being implemented at a cost of approximately SR1 billion, and the funds obtained by the health cluster was used to realize 22 additional programs within two years in several medical disciplines.

He added by that the achievements made by the health cluster and the application of health transformation projects has made access to health services easier.

The health cluster has also applied preventative measures that contributed to reducing the spread of the coronavirus and raised awareness levels amongst citizens and residents,
