MUSCAT — Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Sultanate of Oman, paid Tuesday a visit to Duqm Industrial Zone, escorted by the Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais Al Yousef, and the Saudi Ambassador to Muscat Abdullah Bin Saud Al-Enezi.
Eng. Al-Falih watched a presentation on Duqm special economic zones and investment opportunities. He was also briefed on a number of industrial and commercial sites inside the zone, namely the multi-purpose fishing port of Ras Markaz, the port of Duqm and the dry dock.
Meanwhile, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Saudi Arabia for Planning and Vision Realization Dr. Ibrahim Bin Mahmoud Babli, met with the Omani Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Dr. Ali Bin Amer Al-Shethani.
During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries in the digital economy, joint projects and initiatives and benefiting from the experiences of the two countries in this field. — SPA
