Saudi commander attends final session of Bright Star exercises in Egypt

CAIRO -- On behalf of Chief of the General Staff, the Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, attended, at Mohamed Naguib Military Base, Egypt, the final session of the joint exercises titled Bright Star 2021.

Egyptian Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lt-Gen. Mohamed Zaki, commanders of the units participating in the exercise, and the military attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo were present.

Egypt, Saudi Arabia, USA, Britain, Greece, Jordan, Pakistan, Cyprus, participated in the exercise with 13 others as observers.

The training demonstrated high combat efficiency, coordination, and good understanding between the forces and the ability to carry out joint team work with extreme precision.

Witnessing the activities of the exercises on Wednesday, the Egyptian defense minister praised the distinguished level, technical and skill capabilities and self-confidence enjoyed by the Air Force personnel of all countries participating in the training.

The training activities were attended by the Commander of the Air Force and a number of senior commanders of the Armed Forces. -- SPA
