Special route for people with disabilities connecting ground floor Tawaf area at Grand Mosque

MAKKAH — The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has dedicated the northern slope connecting the mosque's ground floor and the ground floor of the tawaf (circumambulation) building at King Abdullah expansion for people with disabilities.

Coordination has been made with all stakeholders to ensure the readiness of the slope before it opens for visitors of the Grand Mosque.

The Presidency has launched an advisory project to study and develop comprehensive accessibility criteria at the Grand Mosque and its parks and facilities to enable all visitors, pilgrims and Umrah performers to reach all facilities and services easily. — SPA
