RIYADH — Saudi Space Commission's CEO Dr. Mohammad Bin Saud Al-Tamimi held a number of bilateral meetings with his counterparts, heads and directors of space agencies and bodies in the member states of the G20, and a number of representatives of invited countries and heads of international and regional organizations, on the sidelines of the 2nd meeting of G20 Space Economy Leaders in Rome.
During the meetings, Dr. Al-Tamimi discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and G20 member states in the fields of space, capacity building and empowering youths and women.
He also reviewed his country's aspirations for the sector and its pioneering goals in the field, pointing out to the importance of continuing efforts in the areas that serve countries' orientations towards diversifying the economy, preserving depleted natural resources and strengthening space economy. — SPA
