EXHIBITING HERITAGE

September 26, 2021

Preparations are under way for the third edition of the Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition, which will be held from Oct. 1 to 10 at the headquarters of the Saudi Falcons Club in Melham, north of Riyadh.

More than 350 exhibitors have already signed up for the event, which will promote the Kingdom’s falconry and hunting legacy and cultural heritage to the world.

The event aims to introduce and preserve the Kingdom’s legacy of falconry and pass it on to future generations.

It also targets attracting Saudi and international companies and individuals to display and sell a wide variety of falcons and hunting equipment.

The exhibition will be a great link that brings together falconers in the Kingdom and their counterparts in the region and the world, and consolidates the Kingdom’s position as a home for falcons and falconers.

It also highlights the true values of the hobby of raising, caring for, and hunting of falcons as a national symbol and a historical tradition inherited from the ancient Arab culture. — SPA
