RIYADH — The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and the Research Center (KFSHRC) in Riyadh has recently obtained the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) Davies Award of Excellence.

With this achievement, KFSHRC ranks among world’s 100 top medical institutions and becomes the first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to obtain this prestigious award that is granted to organizations advanced in the field of health information technology (IT).

Chief Executive Officer of KFSHRC Dr. Majed Al-Fayyad said that obtaining the prestigious Davies Award of Excellence demonstrates the maturity and competence of the KFSHRC Integrated Clinical Information System (ICIS) over the past years.
