MOSCOW — Justice Minister Walid Al-Samaani has signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday with his Russian counterpart Konstantin Chuychenko, during an official visit to Moscow.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the ministries of justice in Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation in legal and judicial fields, in line with the efforts of the Ministry of Justice to promote international cooperation in such fields.

Al-Samaani expressed his appreciation for the hospitality of the Russian side and its keenness to invest in better relations between the two countries.

The minister also emphasized the importance of enhancing international partnerships for making use of comparative experiments under the framework of the memorandum.

The memorandum provides for the exchange of information and expertise, making reciprocal visits, making comprehensive judicial studies, the organization of seminars and conferences, and cooperation in training and HR development; among other areas. — SG
