RIYADH — The Saudi-led Arab Coalition forces to support Yemen's legitimacy destroyed two explosive-laden boats used by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis, the Coalition announced in a statement on Wednesday.

“The Houthis continue to threaten shipping lines and international trade in the Bab Al-Mandab Strait and the southern Red Sea,” the Coalition said. It added that the Houthis violated the Stockholm Agreement “by launching attacks from the Hodeidah Governorate.”

Meanwhile, the kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia with two explosive-laden boats in Bab Al-Mandab and the south of the Red Sea, violating the international laws and reflecting the Houthi militia’s determination to threaten maritime traffic and undermine security and stability in the region.

In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the efforts of the Coalition Forces to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen which managed to destroy the two boats, calling on the international community to unite in deterring such repeated violations that aim to impede maritime traffic. — SPA
