Monsha'at launches annual award called Ebtker to spread innovation culture

RIYADH — The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha'at” has announced the launch of the annual award called (Ebtker) innovate under the slogan "Homeland _ Innovate".

The award aims to spread the culture of innovation in Saudi Arabia and contribute to the growth of the national economy, through discovering enterprises based on innovation, encouraging them to grow and expand.

This is in addition to supporting and enabling them as well as facilitating their access to partners in the innovation system, along with highlighting them locally and globally.

Monsha'at announced through its accounts on social networks, about opening the door for registration for the award via three tracks: innovative small, micro and medium enterprises through https://ebtker.monshaat.gov.sa/ .

Monsha'at urged all the innovative enterprises that meet the conditions to register for the award before Nov. 20, 2021 to compete for the title of the best innovative enterprise in the Kingdom for 2021, pointing out that the winning enterprises will be announced and awarded with prizes on Dec. 13 and 14, 2021.

The General Authority for SMEs offers a package of advantages to innovative small and micro enterprises that qualified for the final stages, such as enrolling them in the Innovative Growth Program.

The program aims to develop their innovations and get them joined with an elite group of consultants and trainers specialized in the operational, technical, financial and other fields, within an intensive training camp, in addition to linking these enterprises with investors.

The winning enterprises in the first three places will receive financial prizes up to SR300,000 and the winning medium enterprises awarded the title of the best innovative facility in the Kingdom will get the opportunity to join the programs of enterprises such as smart and ambitious pioneers.

This is in addition to qualifying for the knowledge partnership program in the aspect of research and development provided by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and other advantages that enable these facilities to link with partners in the innovation system and to be highlighted at the local and global levels. — SPA
