Sport Ministry to raise attendance capacity for AFC Champions League matches to 100%

RIYADH — The Ministry of Sport will increase the capacity of the mass attendance to 100% in the quarterfinals matches of 2021 AFC Champions League for Western Continent teams to be hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saturday.

This comes based on the approval of the concerned authorities to follow up the latest developments on coronavirus.

The Ministry explained that the mass attendance at these matches is limited to sports fans (over 12 years old), who have completed obtaining (two doses) of the coronavirus vaccine approved by the Ministry of Health, according to status of every fan shown on "Tawakkalna" App..

The Ministry also stressed the importance of all fans’ commitment to applying precautionary measures, provided that the concerned authorities shall follow up the implementation of these measures, and take the necessary action in the event that any violations are detected to preserve the safety of everyone. — SPA
