New COVID-19 cases in KSA stay below 50-mark for 3rd straight day

RIYADH — New COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia stayed below the 50-mark on Saturday, the third consecutive day, with 45 new infections recorded over the past 24 hours.

New COVID case in the Kingdom has been fluctuating around the 50-mark, with infections dipping below the mark on Thursday after four straight days of new cases recording over the 50-mark.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, 2 more people died due to complications caused by the virus over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 547,890 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,760.

According to the ministry, a total of 41 people recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 536,900.

According to the ministry, among the active cases 110 of them were in critical condition.
