RIYADH — The Ministry of Sports announced that sports fans would be allowed to attend in all sports stadiums and facilities at full capacity in various sports competitions from Sunday.

The ministry said that the entry of fans to stadiums and sports facilities will be limited to people who have completed obtaining (two doses) of the coronavirus vaccine approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health, with the exception of those who are not included and excluded, according to the status shown of their “Tawakkalna” app and in accordance with the requirements issued by the concerned authorities.

It also underscored the need to adhere to all applicable precautionary measures and to wear a mask inside the facility.

The ministry explained that this decision will be subject to periodic review according to what it receives from the competent authorities, and based on local and international developments related to the coronavirus pandemic. — SPA
