Shoura Speaker arrives in Kazakhstan to boost ties, development

NUR-SULTAN — The Shoura Council Speaker of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation arrived in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, on an official visit to Kazakhstan at an invitation of the Chairperson of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Ashimbayev Maulen Sagathanuly.

Upon arrival at Nur-Sultan Airport, the Shoura Council Speaker was received by Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Abdirov Nurlan Mazhitovich; Senator Makezhanov Sultanbek Almasbekovich; Deputy Governor of Nur-Sultan Uralov Askhat Razdykovich; Saudi Ambassador Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Al-Dawood and Kazakh Berik Aryn.

For his part, the Saudi Ambassador said that the visit of the Shoura Speaker to Kazakhstan for meetings with senior officials are important, pointing out that relations between the two countries are witnessing a remarkable development in light of the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries.

Ambassador Al-Dawood added that the Shoura Council and the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan have distinguished relations, stressing that mutual visits between the two countries at the level of high-ranking officials are important to enhance cooperation and joint coordination, and support modern investment and economic trends.— SPA
