RIYADH — Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a decision on Monday to localize 11 professions in Al-Baha region.

The decision will come into force on Jan.14, 2022.

The decision included the localization of sales outlets by 100 percent. The excluded professions are the professions of cleaning, loading and unloading, and drivers.

The decision also included the localization of the activity of cafes by 50 percent, and the activity of restaurants by 40 percent.

This comes in continuation of the efforts made towards expanding the Saudization programs, in order to enable the Saudi youths to secure job opportunities, the minister tweeted.

The minister issued two new decisions last week for the localization of the health specialization and medical devices professions across the Kingdom, effective April 11, 2022. — SG
