KUWAIT — The Kuwait government announced that it would lift precautionary measures restrictions next Sunday, Oct. 24.

The Kuwaiti government noted that the return to normal life would be implemented with caution.

The restrictions that were eased included canceling of the physical distancing between worshipers in mosques, in addition to allowing the holding and attending of events in wedding halls and other venues.

The decision to lift the precautionary measures will only apply to those who have received two doses of the vaccine.

The government also will allow people not to wear facemasks in open areas, but must adhere to wearing them in closed areas, except in restaurants and cafes.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has announced that it will re-issue entry visas to Kuwait for those who have received two doses.

The Kuwait government has also assigned the Civil Aviation to implement the third phase of operating Kuwait International Airport at its full capacity.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Health Minister Basil Al-Sabah announced that quarantine procedures and PCR testing are still under way for those who want to enter Kuwait. — SG
