King, Crown Prince condole US President over Colin Powell's death

RIYADH — Custodian of the wo Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to US President Joe Biden on the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

In his cable, the monarch expressed profound sorrow and pain on the death of the former Secretary of State. He extended his heart-felt condolences and sincere sympathy to the President, the family of the deceased and the friendly people of the United States of America.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has also sent a cable of condolences to the US President on the death of Colin Powell.

The Crown Prince expressed deep pain and sorrow on the death of the former Secretary of State. He extended his sympathy to the President, Powell's family and the friendly people of America. — SPA
