Albanian Muslim leader commends Saudi efforts to serve Islam

TIRANA — Chairman of the Muslim Community of Albania Bujar Spahiu held in Tirana on Monday a ceremony to honor Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh, who is currently heading a delegation for a visit to Albania.

In a speech on the occasion, Spahiu commended the efforts of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to serve Muslims and Islam across the world.

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh delivered a speech, during which he conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to scholars and muftis in Albania. He said scholars have a duty to spread Islam, highlight the moderate approach and seek knowledge from its sources, the Holy Quran and Prophetic Sunnah. — SPA
