Dr. Kuman commends the outcomes of first MEGI Summit

TUNIS — Arab Interior Ministers Council Secretary General Dr. Mohammad Bin Ali Kuman has praised the outcomes of the first Middle East Green Initiative Summit, held in Riyadh under the chairmanship of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, in high-level and wide Arab, regional and international participation.

He cited the great success it achieved in unifying efforts and enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and regional countries and the international community to face challenges related to the environment, climate change and nature preservation.

He also highly commended the unprecedented efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preparing and mobilizing its potentials through this initiative as a main component of Saudi Vision 2030.

He drew the attention to Saudi Arabia's leading role under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to lead the green era in line with its comprehensive development vision.

He indicated the relentless efforts through the Saudi Green Initiative and Middle East Green Initiative in facing various environment challenges and keenness to realize global targets to enhance public health, quality life and sustainable development to benefit the countries of the region and the world. — SPA
