OIC, GCC chiefs condemn Houthi terrorist attacks on Abha, Najran

JEDDAH — Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's attempt to target Abha International Airport with a bomb-laden drone.

The Secretary-General reiterated that endangering the lives of travelers and civilians is a cowardly terrorist act, a war crime and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

He also condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in Najran City using drones.

Dr. Al-Othaimeen affirmed the OIC's support for the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to deal with the practices of the terrorist Houthi militia in order to maintain its security and stability and the safety of Saudi citizens and residents.

Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf has condemned the two attempts by the terrorist Houthi militia to target Abha International Airport and civilians in Najran City with two bomb-laden drones.

He condemned the Houthi militia's attempt to endanger the lives of travelers and civilians, describing it as a cowardly terrorist act, a war crime and a grave violation of international humanitarian law.

The Secretary-General affirmed the GCC countries' support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to deal with the practices of the terrorist Houthi militia in order to preserve its security and stability and the safety of citizens and residents. — SPA
