RIYADH — The Saudi Space Commission (SSC) has announced a strategic partnership for the development of human capabilities in the space field with Airbus Defense and Space, based on enhancing the exchange of knowledge and successful experiences between the two sides.

The partnership also aims to develop human capabilities and adopt best practical and professional practices in the space sector, and raise the level of specialized practical know-how in the space sector for those interested and willing to learn space sciences among male and female students and workers in the space sector through the implementation of professional and qualifying professional programs and initiatives, with the help of experts specialized in the field of space.

The SSC-Airbus strategic partnership comes to activate the partnership agreement agreed upon on the sidelines of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Dubai, to prepare national cadres in this important field, with the aim of enriching the beneficiaries with global experiences in the space sector and its industry.

This partnership will enhance job opportunities for trainees in the field of space, and contributing in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030 through the development of national human capabilities, qualifying them for the labor market and raising their participation in it. — SPA
