Saudi, Omani teams sign MoUs to cooperate in land and air transport

RIYADH — The Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services signed Monday in Riyadh, two memoranda of understanding with its Omani counterpart to exchange expertise between the two sides and enhance cooperation in the land and air transport sectors.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser and the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of Oman Eng. Saeed Al-Maawali.

The MoUs were sealed during Al-Maawali and the accompanying delegation's visit to the Kingdom, during which they held a meeting with Al-Jasser, to discuss strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides showed keenness to consolidate cooperation between the Kingdom and Oman in the transport and logistics services sector, benefiting from the unique geographical location of the two countries and achieving the objectives of the national strategy for transport and services. — SPA
