NAUSS organizes 2nd Forum for security institutions training

RIYADH — The 2nd Forum on Education and Training in Security Institutions was launched Monday at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS), which lasts from Nov. 8-10, 2021.

Specialists representing security educational institutions from ten countries are participating in the forum including: Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, UAE, in addition to host Saudi Arabia as well as the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Among the agenda of the forum are the future of security education and training, fields of security education and training programs to confront future security threats, evaluation and raising the quality of the outputs of security education and training programs according to the practices of accreditation bodies, and the role of modern technologies in developing and strengthening programs of security education and training.

Also, experts from the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training, the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT), Case Western Reserve University, City and Guilds for the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, Microsoft and IBM will be attending the event. — SPA
