MADINAH — The Royal Commission for AlUla and French Architect Jean Nouvel, who won the 2008 Pritzker Architecture Prize, are participating in this year’s Dubai Design Week, which commenced Monday in Dubai Design District in the UAE, it was reported here Tuesday.
During its participation in this prominent event which highlights a package of designs, architecture and art, the Commission, will be reviewing project designs that can contribute to forming the landmarks of AlUla, in the northwestern region of Saudi Arabia, to transform it into a global destination.
It would also provide an inspiration for the promising talents and international and Saudi talents to contribute to the success of AlUla journey and to reveal the vision and design principles that constitute a compass to guide the transformation AlUla is witnessing. — SPA
