RIYADH — Yemeni Vice President Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh expressed his deep appreciation for the role of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen and its continued support for Yemenis in their battle against the terrorist militia and the Iran-backed Houthi sectarian coup, and for their common destiny in protecting Yemen and the security and stability of the entire Arab region.

The terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia and its continued escalation toward not only the liberated areas in Yemen but also Saudi Arabian territory, and its procrastination against the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement from the first day, prove that they reject peace, the official Yemeni News Agency (Saba) quoted Gen. Saleh as saying.

The Yemeni Vice President, during two phone calls to his country's Minister of Defense, Mohammad Ali Al-Maqdashi, and the Governor of Marib Governorate, Gen. Sultan Ali Al-Arada, called on the international community to contribute to deterring and condemning these practices in a way that would protect the security of Yemen and Yemenis and thwart Iran's subversive project. — SPA
