Arab coalition carries out military operation against Houthi targets

RIYADH — The Arab coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen declared on Thursday, carrying out a large military operation against Houthi targets.

Saudi News Agency (SPA) quoted the coalition as saying that the airstrikes included targets located in Sanaa, Dhamar, Sadah and Al-Jawf, indicating that ballistic missiles, drones and communication system workshops and storages were destroyed.

It also added a secret facility belonging to "Iran National Guard experts" was targeted and that "Hezballah" is implicated in the hostile attacks, affirming that the military operation is in accordance with international humanitarian law and its principles.

Command of the coalition has announced yesterday that Saudi air forces intercepted and destroyed a drone attack that was targeting Abha International Airport, and two others targeting Khamis Mushait south of the country. — SG
