RIYADH — Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, has revealed that the number of visitors to various events and activities of the Riyadh Season 2021 reached three million.

“The events have attracted three million visitors in only one month,” he said in a statement on his Twitter account on Saturday.

Al-Sheikh opened Riyadh Season 2, the Middle East’s largest ever entertainment event, on Oct. 20. The opening ceremony featured in impressive parade, dazzling shows of drones and spectacular fireworks that lit up the skies of the capital city.

The Riyadh Season is witnessing 7,500 astounding events and fun-filled activities across 14 entertainment zones spreading over a total area of 5.4 million square meters. The festival will run until March 2022.
