Crown Prince agrees to be honorable president of RITA

RIYADH – Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, approved to be Honorable President of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (RITA).

On this occasion, Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Crown Prince for accepting the honorary presidency of the institute, affirming that this gesture has a great impact in supporting the march of this important cultural entity and a source of inspiration for its employees locally and globally.

"In light of unlimited support from the wise leadership to the cultural sectors, the Crown Prince's approval on the honorary presidency represents a catalyst for the institute to provide a creative environment for the development of national capabilities in the field of the Saudi traditional arts via educational, cultural and community programs," Prince Badr said.

The Minister of Culture stressed that the idea of the institute emanated from the directives and vision of the Crown Prince to support the cultural sectors, which are one of the most important pillars of the Quality of Life and the Kingdom Vision 2030. – SPA
