RIYADH — The Ministry of Culture and its cultural authorities are participating in the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, scheduled to be held between Dec. 3 and 5, through offering a comprehensive and enriching cultural experience, in partnership with the Ministry of Sports.
The cultural participation include full amusement for all visual, auditory and tactile senses, starting from visual art through inaugurating a national competition to design a F1 circuit with the participation of the Visual Arts Commission, and enhancing the presence of musical arts through the participation of the Music Commission to supervise the National Music Band that will perform the national anthem on the inauguration day.
The Culinary Arts Commission will also take part through offering live cooking experiences with a character that suits the characteristics of fast F1.
This is in addition to offering an experience to prepare Saudi coffee with innovative additions inspired by indigenous Saudi flavors, such as date molasses, among others, where the commission allows visitors to experience this cultural aspect through participating in preparing the coffee.
The Ministry of Culture will conclude its participation with holding a 3D live show simulating the historical Jeddah, and the exhibition of “the fastest cars through time” that is organized by the Museum Commission, where the exhibition tells the history of the fastest cars in the world since the invention of the first car till the present. — SPA
