ASBU delegation visits historical Diriyah

RIYADH — A delegation of participants in the meetings of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) paid a visit to the historic Diriyah, Tarif quarter and archaeological sites in the governorate, accompanied by a number of officials from the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA).

The visit, which includes more than 150 media men from various Arab countries, is part of the activities on the sidelines of the meetings of the 41st session of the General Assembly, the 106th meeting of the Executive Council of ASBU and the preparatory meetings under the patronage of the acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi in Riyadh.

In the same context, the meetings of the 106th ASBU Executive Council will start in Saturday in Riyadh. The ASBU concluded Friday the 80th meeting of the Standing Committee for Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs, during which a number of recommendations were issued, and many issues related to the Committee and ways to develop them were highlighted. — SPA
