December 18, 2021

RIYADH — American entrepreneur Kaseem Abu Nasser (Swizz beatz) said that he had been so captivated by the 2021 Falconry Festival that he would prepare for an outstanding participation in the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2022.

"Wait for me next year; I will be ready and I will prepare strongly for the competition," the well-known Kaseem said as he toured the 2021 festival that concluded on Thursday at the Saudi Falcons Club in Mulham, north of Riyadh.

The American businessman, well-known in the Saudi circles and the Middle East who had won camel races, expressed his admiration for the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival and the falcon races, pointing out that the falcons he saw in the Al Mazayen competition were the most beautiful he had ever sighted.

The great interest and special care accorded to the Saudi heritage, be it falcons or camels, have succeeded in taking it from the local scene to the world, he stressed.

He said that he had seen many non-Saudi and non-Gulf participants in the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, which confirms that the festival is moving forward at a steady pace and will have a greater status in the near future, he said.

"I have heard about the Falconry Festival and I was very keen to visit it, and I am happy with this visit, and if I could participate now, I would, but wait for me in the next edition," he said.

Kaseem grabbed the spotlight after he stormed into camel races and invested millions of riyals in the field through his team, which he named "Saudi Bronx".

He achieved victories that made large headlines and were the talk of the world as he was the first American to win camel races. — SG
