King Salman to address Shoura on Wednesday

RIYADH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman will deliver his annual speech at the Shoura (Consultative) Council on Wednesday at the beginning of the second year of the Council's eighth session.

Speaker, Abdullah Al-Ashaikh, expressed pride over the King's honoring the Council and said the King's speech will outline the Kingdom's policy and define the work of the Council.

Al-Sheikh noted that the Monarch’s speech would come at a critical time and is being anticipated by many political and economic circles for several considerations, foremost of which is the great and influential position of King Salman at the regional and international levels, and the Kingdom’s position as a large and pivotal country at the global level,

King Salman’s annual address will outline the Kingdom's stance vis-a-vis world issues and internal achievements which were according to the 2030 Vision.

The royal speech will define the political and economic work during the coming phase and will pinpoint the Kingdom's attitude regarding the regional and international developments.
