Saudi Falcons Club participates in Expo 2020

DUBAI — The Saudi Falcons Club participated in Expo 2020 Dubai, through events celebrating the World Wildlife Day, which is organized this year under the theme "Life on Earth", and celebrated annually on Dece. 30.

The club’s participation came within the GCC pavilion, where the club displayed, on Thursday and Friday, a group of falcons of different types, to acquaint the exhibition’s visitors about the falcons and their biological nature, and their role in maintaining ecological balance and protecting wildlife.

Through its participation in this global event hosted by the United Arab Emirates, the Saudi Falcon Club aims to consolidate the Kingdom's leading role in the falcons' sector,

It also aims to boost relevant cultural and heritage hobbies, and to enhance its position as a home for falcons and falconers, and to introduce this ancient heritage to visitors, whose number has exceeded, according to the latest statistics, more than 8 million visitors. — SPA
